Every child is welcome! Every Child belongs!

Every child is more than good enough!

Nurture in Primate Dixon

Primate Dixon Primary School pledges to promote and incorporate the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing within our school community. The ethos and culture 'that every child is more than good enough' is the basis of everything we do. Our commitment to Take 5 will be visible to all staff, pupils and school family to help provide the very best support we can to each other as we grow and learn.

Take 5 at Primate Dixon

There are 5 things you can do every day to look after your mind.

These are the 5 Steps to Wellbeing

Connect - Talk to the people around you like your friends or family.  Join a group.

Keep Learning - Try a new hobby, learn a language, join an after school club.

Be Active - Play sport, go for a walk, dance.  Moving helps you feel good.

Take Notice - Take a deep breath, think about what you are grateful for.

Give - Do something kind. Help out. Say thank you!  Smile!

Every day we try to do these 5 steps to wellbeing and once a month we focus on them for a full day on 'High Five Friday'.

Easter Activities @ An Nead san Oileán

An exciting week as Easter approaches here in 'An Nead san Oileán' as the children prepared for an Easter themed 'Stay and Play.'

Invitations were made and delivered to some very special visitors to come play in our beautiful classroom 'An Nead san Oileán.'

We made buns for the occasion and prepared our snack table to treat our guests.  We enjoyed this special time to share our play with our grown ups.  Take a look at the lovely activities we shared.

Come take a look at our new learning space @ Primate Dixon 😃
